We have no idea how big of a show this is, but anything involving water is a nice option these days. So if you’ve been thinking about getting a pool, a spa, or even a little duckie pond you might want to check this one out. Friday through Sunday only. Admission and Parking are free.

FM Activates “Newer” East/West FM2499 Watering Restrictions!
0 Comments Published July 25th, 2008 in News.
SPECIAL NOTICE! This update supersedes the previously confusing odd/even town watering restrictions!
Effective immediately, residents and businesses with addresses east of FM 2499 may water landscaping on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday and those with addresses west of FM 2499 may water landscaping on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. No outdoor watering is allowed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for any address.
No clear explanation was given for the new watering regulation change that occurs only one week after the previous address based Stage 2 restriction was issued, but we can surmise from personal experience that the earlier restriction was confusing to residents and difficult to enforce.
From the Town’s press release: “In order to ensure all Flower Mound residents and businesses receive adequate water pressure during peak usage hours, Flower Mound has transitioned the Stage Two Water Conversation Measures to a geographical location-based system.”

The Blue Goose Cantina chain has opened their newest restaurant in the Shops of Highland Village, across the street from the AMC Theater. We dropped in for lunch recently to check it out on a busy Saturday. Walking into the fourth of the local chain’s locations, we found it, like the original location in Lower Greenville, already full of Blue Goose faithfuls. Their patio on the east (Shady) side of the restaurant is a great place to sit and enjoy a refreshing cold beverage of choice and watch the kids play in the run-through fountain.
