Temp’s Dropping…Is that Fall I feel?
One of our favorite area events of the year is coming…Grapevine’s Grapefest 2010. It’s the closest ‘large-scale’, yet hometown festival to us in Flower Mound. The shops on Main street have great charm and the merchants are extremely friendly and hospitable. It’s a great opportunity to wander aimlessly down mainstreet without having to worry about vehicle traffic and see some of the architecture of Grapevine that dates back nearly a century. There’s multiple stages with entertainment from opening to closing each day of the four day festival.
There are great arts, craft, clothing and jewelry exhibits, good food, and oh, did we forget…WINE TASTING! Numerous wine tasting ’stations’ are located up and down the street. There are also special events such as a grape-stomping competition, cooking demonstrations, peoples-choice tasting events, champagne courtyard.
