Summer is a great time to volunteer. And Greater Lewisville Cares is a great organization to get started with. Attending a brief orientation is all you need to get started making a difference as a volunteer in our community.
Greater Lewisville Cares, a 501c3 nonprofit, provides flexible, hands-on service opportunities for all ages and interests primarily in Denton County. They also have information on a variety of longer term volunteer opportunities such as mentoring, meals on wheels, and much more.
After attending orientation, you will receive a monthly calendar of service opportunities from which to pick and choose to match your schedule and interests— there is no fee, no minimum hour requirement.
Join GLC and see just how easy and rewarding it is to help make a difference in your community.
