Free Concert-Lewisville Old Town, Tue, Sept 25th, 6:30pm

Now in their third week with two more weeks to go, The City of Lewisville’s Fall Concert Series will hold their next concert on Tuesday evening, Sept 25th, from 6:30-8:30. Performing will be Briefcase Blues, which as their name hints, is a Blues Brothers Review.

Founded in 1983 (one year after John Belushi’s untimely death) and STILL going strong for 24 years now, backed by a hot 8-piece showband (4 horns, 4 rhythm players), the stars of the show J.W. Leggio (as Jake) and Lee Schwing (as Elwood) faithfully re-create the Blues Brothers in true Belushi & Aykroyd style!

The performance starts at 6:30 in Old Town Lewisville, directly in front of the new Lewisville City Hall at Poydras and Main.

Click here for a map. There will two be additional performances by top area bands each Tuesday Night through October 9th, 2007. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. No Alcohol, glass containers or pets permitted.

There is generally a different genre of music each week. For more information on the concert series go to:
