The Great Wolf Lodge is now open and accepting guests for the Holiday season. Located down Highway 26 directly across the street from the Gaylord Texan, the lodge, as it’s name implies, offers 402 lodge-themed rooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting space and an extremely large water park.
The highlight of the hotel is an 80,000 square foot indoor water park as well as a unique large outdoor pool and water slide area. Great Wolf will cater primarily to families and leisure travelers. We also expect to see the Great Wolf as an alternative for business travelers with group meetings at the Texan who may bring along their families to enjoy the Wolf’s recreational opportunities. Of course the Wolf offers other amenities such as restaurants and Elements, an Aveda concept spa.
