<strong>Once Again, Fall Fun Begins!</strong>

We’ve said it before and will say it again…We love Grapevine’s Grapefest. It’s the closest ‘large-scale’, yet hometown festival to us in Flower Mound. The shops on Main street have great charm and the merchants are extremely friendly and hospitable. It’s a great opportunity to wander aimlessly down mainstreet without having to worry about vehicle traffic and see some of the architecture of Grapevine that dates back nearly a century. There’s multiple stages with entertainment from opening to closing each day.

There are great arts, craft, clothing and jewelry exhibits, good food, and oh, did we forget…WINE TASTING! Numerous wine tasting ’stations’ are located up and down the street. One of our favorites, is always right on Main. <a href="http://www.dvinewineusa.com/" target="_blank">D’Vine Wine</a> is located at 409 S. Main. Stop in to sample their in-store made wine for a very reasonable price.  Or, try the Soda Jerk at 405 S. Main for an old-fashioned ice cream treat.

There are also special events such as a grape-stomping competition, cooking demonstrations, peoples-choice tasting events, champagne courtyard.

There are numerous automobile exhibits from Hummer, Saturn, Ford and others. While we didn’t wander into the carnival area, there are many children and teen rides for every level of thrill-seeker.
