WILLKOMMEN Y’ALL TO THE 21 ANNUAL ADDISON OKTOBERFEST
CELEBRATE OKTOBERFEST AT ONE OF THE LARGEST AUTHENTIC CELEBRATIONS IN U.S.
Nearly 70,000 fans of polka, German food and Paulaner bier will gather September 18-21, 2008, in Addison’s spectacular Addison Circle Park. Addison’s 21st annual Oktoberfest features four days of music, folk dancing, sing-a-longs plus great German food and entertainment — in one of the largest and most authentic Oktoberfest festivals outside of the famed Munich celebration.
“People are sometimes confused by the September timing of Addison’s Oktoberfest event,” says Barbara Kovacevich, Special Events Administrator for the Town of Addison. “But we schedule Oktoberfest in Addison to coincide with the opening of the world renowned Oktoberfest celebration in Munich.”
This year, Grammy-award winners Brave Combo will join dozens of authentic German entertainers at the festival, which draws guests from across the Southwest. Special hotel packages, featuring lodging, event tickets and more, will be available from many of Addison’s diverse hotels.
