Monty Python’s Spamalot, winner of multiple Tony Awards, including best Broadway musical arrived in DFW last Tuesday beginning a three week run in town. If you’re a fan of British TV comedy and Monty Python movies, you’ll love them brought to life on the stage in this Dallas Summer Musicals presentation at the Music Hall at Fair Park.

Fireworks begin at dusk
Gates will open at 7 p.m. The fireworks show and parking at Flower Mound High School are free. No cooler, alcohol, or tobacco products may be brought to the high school. Concessions and children’s activities will be available. The rainout date for this event is Thursday, July 5. For more information, call 972.874.6276.
The Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra will perform from 8 to 9 p.m.

At Atlanta’s Four Seasons hotel, Executive Chef Robert Gerstenecker helps guests rehydrate after workouts with refreshing citrus water. You can make a pitcher and keep it in the fridge for up to five days.
The following is the recipe:
16 cups (1 gallon) water
2 Large Lemons, sliced
1 large orange, sliced
Instructions:
1. Combine water with fruits slices in a large pitcher and chill 1-2 hours.
2. Strain out fruit after 2 hours. Pour water into large glass and serve.

According to the Journal of Applied Physiology, most people exercise best late in the day. To study how the body’s internal clock affects athletic performance, researchers put 25 swimmers on a wacky sleep schedule for 55 hours and measured their performance when they swam. The swimmers did better in the afternoon and into the evening, finally peaking at 11 pm. – but they plummeted between 2 and 8 A.M. “Even with too little sleep or not having eaten before exercising, your body will produce this rhythm naturally and peak late in the day,” says study author Chris Klein.
So don’t pass up a workout even if you’re flagging come 6 P.M. – you may have a few circuits in you yet. Amazingly, even if you are feeling tired and not that thrilled with the idea of getting in some exercise, you might just be suprised at how your body responds.

Offering eight theaters, guests take a seat in individual leather recliners and order a meal served hot and fresh at their table while enjoying a movie. To avoid disturbing other theatergoers, you are provided with a blinking tabletop light to signal servers for refills, deserts, etc.
