The merchants of Bartonville Town Center presents a free outdoor movie, “A Night At The Museum”. You are invited to arrive early to enjoy the many restaurants now open in the center. Bring your own chairs. Sorry, no coolers permitted.
Bartonville Town Center is located on FM 407 northbound directly west of Lantana.
We originally published this story back in June, and have had so much interest in linking to the story we thought we’d update it so everybody could find the link quickly.
Flower Mound joins the unique ranks of cities with their own Rap song written and produced by creative local youth, singing about being stuck in Flow Mo with nothing to do. It would appear these kids found plenty to do in highlighting several local landmarks, not to mention all the work put into scripting, shooting and editing the video. And there are some talented voices, just listen all of the way through. Check it out here.

A local group, Studio B Performing Arts Center will present Hello Dolly at the Marcus High School Theater auditorium.

One of the activities we’ve always enjoyed is exploring our own “back yard”. Now in Texas, that phrase takes on a little larger than life meaning. So often we hear friends say they have never been to Dealey Plaza, the JFK Memorial Museum, or other local landmarks, or they only go there when they have relatives in town. We hope to add our own list of weekend getaways and hope you can contribute yours.
